Gear Up for a Day of Fun and Purpose at the Annual Amy’s Ride/Run/Walk for Pancreatic Cancer in Quakertown, PA!

Get ready to make a difference and have a blast at the 9th Annual Amy’s Ride/Run/Walk for Pancreatic Cancer in Quakertown, PA! On May 20th, 2023, we’re celebrating this fantastic event, created to honor Amy Spier (Cygan) and raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research.

The event will start at 6:00 am with registration opening at The Park at 4th, near The Univest Performance Center amphitheater in Quakertown. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a casual walker, there’s something for everyone with options like a 5K run, 5K walk, or 24 or 42-mile bike ride. And the best part? Kids under 16 years old can participate for free! The 42-mile ride will begin at 7:00 am, the 24-mile at 8:00 am, and the 5K walk and run at 9:30 am.

“We are thrilled to be hosting Amy’s Ride/Run/Walk for Pancreatic Cancer again this year,” said event organizer Tony Cygan. “This event brings people from all walks of life together to raise awareness and critical funds for pancreatic cancer research. It’s a day of fun and meaning that truly makes a difference.”

And that’s not all! You’ll also get to enjoy live music, delicious food, and enter to win exciting raffle prizes. Plus, you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt and swag bag to remember the day. There will also be yoga cooldown sessions led by June from Moondog Yoga, chalk art available courtesy of Lucky Strike Tattoo, and prizes awarded to the King and Queen of the Mountain. 5K runners will also receive awards in their respective age categories.

After the event, head downtown to the Arts Alive! Festival and experience the work of talented artisans and craftspeople.

Wear purple, the color of pancreatic cancer awareness, and bring your furry friends along as pets are welcome at the event if they are leashed and well-behaved. Strollers and joggers are also allowed on the course.

Rain or shine, the event will take place, and in case of lightning, the start time will be delayed until the storm passes.

Register now online at amysriderunwalk.com/register/ or in person on the day of the event. All proceeds will go towards pancreatic cancer research.
